The sun shone and the birds were singing at 11 o´clock on March the 16th 2001: the new RTS-blockbuster from CDV Software Entertainment AG Cossacks: European Wars took over the pole position of Amazon UKs pre-order charts for PC and video games. In fact, it left Lionhead´s Black & White behind!
“This is a clear indication of the potential of the Cossacks,” says Leo Zullo, Marketing Manager, CDV UK. ”Gamers have voted with their wallets even prior to release. Whilst many publishers appear to be avoiding March 30th the Amazon chart proves that there´s no reason to be scared of Black & White if you have the right title.”
