Description: "This map is intended as a multiplayer map. It plays 'Blue' (Russia - around 4000 units) as the attacker and 'Dark Blue' (also Russia - around 2700 units) as the defender. The fortress offers many points of attack. Some parts of the fortress are massively protected by walls and it will take a long time to break through them, other parts are less protected and therefore easier to break through - but there are certain risks there. Both players should have a good look at the map beforehand, as there are some tactical possibilities - for both sides.
The player of the fortress has the possibility to enter the 18th century and let the balloon rise - the attacker, however, cannot do this. I did this because in reality you could observe the enemy from a distance from the towers and elevations (provided he could not hide behind hills and in wooded areas), but the attacker could not observe what was going on behind the fortifications. But at the latest when you are close to the fortress with your attacking troops, you can also see large parts of the fortress.
I suggest the following rules:
- Both sides make all artillery upgrades, because otherwise they shoot around too 'blindly'.
- no upgrades are made for the fighting units, time can be saved, and, if both sides play under the same conditions, it doesn't matter anyway whether these upgrades are made or not.
- the upgrades regarding durability of walls and towers are also made.
