The Alexander computer game is considered abandonware software due to unclear circumstances/problems surrounding the exclusive rights holder IMF3. The developer (GSC GameWorld), the publisher (UbiSoft) and the film rights holder (Intermedia’s successor, OpenRoad) are still in business, but none of them have the rights to sell it. For this reason, don’t look for it in the Steam, Uplay, GOG stores. It is considered abandonware software because it cannot be obtained legally.
