Description: Welcome back to the barren deserts of the Sahara. In this mission, you will fight on the side of the infamous algerian rebel from the middle XIX. century, Abdu-i-Kadir, better known under the name of Abd-El-Kader. You will have to fight against the brave and valiant french legionaries, and also, against those who put greed upon an more important place then the religious and patriotic feelings. The mission has some historicall background.
Letter from Abdu-I-Kadir, to Abdul Mohamed bin Salamalecum, leader of the army :
" My dear friend Abdul Mohamed bin Salamalecum,
The infidel french had came into our country for many years.We had fought against them more of a guerrila warfare, but now is the time to show them that whe are more then a match.
We have recentle learned, that the Sultan of Tamanrasset had became the allied of the french.The french offered him many promises, and even some more "less virtuos" women for his harem, taken from the streets of Paris. This is bad news, as the sultan has a large and well prepared army.The city is well fortified, and its walls are thick.
Unfortunately, in the village of Ayn Uzza, where your troops are located, there are no people... a child, who was hiding in his home, told us that the french legionaires tooke the population into theyr camp.Whe have no idea where is that camp, but rumours say that it is somwhere to the north-east of your position, near a dry lake, to the east of the two peaks, called "the Twin Peaks".
You should hurry up to find them, and try to gather food as quikly as possible... the men ned food in the desert, and the sultan may attack you at any time.A berber tribe joining our couse, has some cavalry to the north... evade any contact whith the enemy...
Take care, my friend, and storm the city , and also, kill al the french troops you find in the region. Howewer, take care... you need alot of men, as the french will kill many of our soldiers, due to theyr better gunpower".
Objectives: build an strong economy, and use the rugged mountains to your advantage.
Kill all enemy on the map... raze the city to the ground...you should play on hard, or very hard dificulty level...
Please do not be to harsh with me, is the first scenario kind map that i created using the limited Cossacks EW editor... the other map of mine, was more of a normal map...
