Description: "As the name suggests, the map is modelled on the landscape in Southeast Asia and covers the area from the southeast border of Burma in the upper left to the northern part of Dutch Borneo in the lower right. In doing so, I had to make a compromise between geographical accuracy and playability and, in case of doubt, opted for playability.
I have only tested the map in single-player mode and can therefore not make any statement about its multiplayer suitability.
The player takes on the role of the Dutch (red), who have established themselves on Sumatra (bottom left) and Borneo (bottom right). Due to the two-part location of the Dutch, two main problems arise (if all computer opponents are switched on):
1. east of the Dutch settlement on Borneo, Spaniards and Prussians settle, which are easily defeated but cost some time.
2. between the two Dutch bases lies the English (black) occupied peninsula of Malaya. If the English are left alone for too long, they will build up a strong fleet and thus hinder all shipping.
It is therefore advisable to cut the English down to size as quickly as possible. By the way, a strong fleet is also necessary against the other nations, because sooner or later the Portuguese from North Vietnam and the French from Cambodia will cross over to the south with transport ships. There are also the Algerians (who are supposed to be Indians, but they don't exist), but they are not too strong.
