Dear friends!
 
There’s a small pause in tournament era, and that means we’re getting new balance changes. This patch drastically changes the melee units, greatly improves the food as main resource, and of course changes alot of different units stats!
 
 
Cossacks 3 version: v1.8.1.80.5478
 
 
Battle:
  • Attack animation speed is decreased by 20%. Attack time is higher by 25%. All melee units start to deal damage less frequently. While shooters reload time wasn’t changed
  • Removed 30% chance that mortar ball won’t deal any damage.
  • Changes in map generation rules. Places for one gold, iron and coal mines were moved further from the base.
  • Economics:
  • Decreased needed count of wheat cut out to gather food from 26 to 22 times
  • Increased portion of gathered food by 12.5%
  • Price for buying Iron and Coal is increased by ~40%. Now you have to sell more resources to buy same amount of Iron and Coal. Selling price of this resources wasn’t changed

  • 2st food harvesting upgrade efficiency decreased from 250 to 180%
 
Academy: 
  • Field life upgrade cost decreased from 1400 wood 525 gold to 1000 wood 475 gold
  • New construction materials” upgrade cost decreased from 13500 wood, 8714 stone, 1150 gold to 9400 wood, 7850 stone, 1150 gold
  • Design new barrel types” upgrade cost decreased from 7000 stone, 9050 gold, 27235 iron to 3000 stone, 4550 gold, 19200 iron
  • Develop geology” upgrade cost decreased from 500 gold to 250 gold
  • “Develop medical science” research time doubled, and effects reduced in 2 times (heals 50% of health points now)
  • Blacksmith:
  • Forge metal armature” upgrade cost decreased from 19320 stone, 350 gold, 900 iron to 12320 stone, 350 gold, 900 iron
 
Artillery Depot:
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd upgrades for cost and construction time for cannons and howitzers research times decreased from 31.25s to 10s

  • Pike protection decreased from 4 to 3

  • Fixed bug when 6th protection upgrade gave +3 only to sword, and not to pike and arrow
 
Roundshier – Austria:
  • 5th protection upgrade protection bonus decreased from 2 to 1
 
18th century Pikeman – Europe:
  • Training time decreased from 1.5s to 1.25s
 
18th century Pikeman – Sweden:
  • Training time decreased from 2s to 1.5s

  • Damage increased from 10 to 12
  • 5th and 6th damage upgrades bonus damage decreased by 1

  • Gold consumption rate increased from 40 to 60

  • Price is now slightly increasing, depending on count of these units (like the 18th century mercenary dragoons).
  • Damage decreased from 9 to 8
  • Training time decreased from 2.75s to 2.5s
  • Gold consumption rate increased from 75 to 150
 
18th century Dragoon:
  • Price changed from 100 gold to 120 gold
  • Gold consumption rate increased from 90 to 120
